Mandy Salter is the 5th Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Mississauga and an independent arts consultant. She is recognized nationally as a forward-thinking visionary and inclusive collaborator and is known for her award winning and paradigm shifting programming - work which has brought positive change and critical attention to the organizations in which she has worked.
Salter provides art collection consulting services to clients public and private. She regularly provides both public and private clients with collection management and careservices including CCPREB, conservation and maintenance strategies, acquisitions and deaccessioning supports.
Mandy has held senior management positions at the Art Gallery of Mississauga (2014 - present) and the Art Gallery of Windsor (2009 - 2013)and teaching positions within the Art History Departments at the University of Miami, The University of the West Indies and Nova Southeastern University, Jamaica and Bahamas. Her past curatorial research has explored ideas concerning visual art, cultural history and community accessibility.
